The Beganings

The past four years of my life have been, well earth shaking. The love of my life at the age of 23 was gone, we were together for 8 years, she suffered a stroke just weeks before graduating from college. I lost 110lbs, and managed to work a full-time job at a group home taking care of people with developmental disabilities while going to college, and dealing with such loss. While doing this I have maintained a band that is as professional as can be with-out national backing. Ive made more friends and seen more of life in the past four years then many people experiences in 10. These experiences have brought me to a very interesting conclusion about life which I am about to share with you. The law of what is an idea, the title came from a good friend while we were drinking beers talking about life. The Idea is simply..... what makes sense? People everyday live our lives and go on our merry little way floating off into oblivion. We have no idea why we are here or how we got here or even where we are headed. Yet we think we know what is important, we assume that money, and cars, and nice things have meaning. The meaning only comes from the fact that this is the world we are born into. Step outside the box for one moment, If you were born 300 years ago, how different would things be? How different would you be? and what would matter? and what makes sense?
The point in which I am trying to convey is this, The only thing that matters is what you make matter, and overall, nothing in this world makes any sense, so what matters? The only thing that we all know is that we ourselves are conscious beings. Nothing else makes sense, we justify things, or try to explain things but its only to the extent of what the human mind can understand and create. It could all be nothing more then a dream. We attach these explanations and assume that they are correct because of what we can observe. But who is to say what? What can be observed by one is different then another. I see things much differently then you. So if nothing makes any sense, the only things that matter are what you make matter, so why not acknowledge that the simple fact that we are able to exist with our own conscious thought to truly be what matters. Every thing is a gift and this place is a play ground for which we have no true explanation. Why not enjoy what we have while we can, and make sure that future generations have the same enjoyable experience. Have you ever looked at your hand and moved your fingers about with wonder? I do every day. How the hell does that make sense? look at your fingers as they type, or hell look at the computer. What the hell makes sense about any of it? NOTHING AT ALL, so I say be happy that any of this exist and that you and I have had the opportunity to exist and still do. What the opposite of existence? You freakin guessed it, Non-existence. So I don't know about you, but no matter what the hell happens as long as Im able to experience something, nothing else matters, and nothing ever makes any sense.

The Law Of What

Hello, My name is Josh G. Im a 27 year old college student who has seen a fair share of what life has to offer. The point of this blog is to give other people helpful information about how amazing life can be, if you let it. Perception is our best friend and worst enemy. It can easily blind you to the way things really are, or it create a hyper focused universe. The point is this experience called Life belongs to just you. Each of us walk a separate path, and the only thing we really know to be true is our self awareness. Existence itself is reason enough to be happy. Ill explain this in my next blog post which will be long and gruesome if your not in the right mind set.
